Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Nevada is able to fulfill many wishes because of our vehicle donation program. While the laws have changed, we still receive a tremendous benefit from the donation of your used car, truck, RV or boat. Our program administrator, FasTrak Charity Auctions, will make the process quick and easy, so donate your used vehicle today.
Step 1: Fill out a form online at http://fastrakauctions.com/Home.aspx or contact FasTrak Charity Auctions at 1-866-947-4227, naming the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Nevada as your charity of choice. You will be asked to provide general information on the vehicle that will be donated. They accept most intact vehicles whether they are running or not.
Step 2: FaskTrak will tow your vehicle at no charge to you, and complete all DMV paperwork. Vehicles are then prepared for sale by completing minor repairs, maintenance and detailing.
Step 3: Once the vehicle is sold by FasTrak, you will receive a written acknowledgement letter stating the gross proceeds received from the sale of your vehicle.
To Donate your Air Miles:
Two-thirds of the Foundation’s wishes involve air travel, so the cost of hundreds of airline tickets per year adds up considerable. Many major airlines allow their frequent fliers to donate airline miles to Make-A-Wish. The airlines “pool” these donated miles through a national clearinghouse and the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America then distributes the miles to individual chapters.
